Ingredients:

For the Ice Cream Base:

  • 2 cups heavy cream

  • 1 cup whole milk

  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar

  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract

  • Pinch of salt

For the Fudge Swirl:

  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips or chopped chocolate

  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 2 tablespoons light corn syrup or honey

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions:

Make the Ice Cream Base:

  1. In a bowl, whisk together heavy cream, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until the sugar is fully dissolved.

  2. Cover and refrigerate the mixture for at least 2 hours (or overnight) to chill thoroughly.

Make the Fudge Swirl:

  1. In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine heavy cream, chocolate, cocoa powder, corn syrup (or honey), and salt.

  2. Stir until smooth and glossy. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.

  3. Let cool to room temperature. The sauce should be thick but pourable.

Churn and Swirl:

  1. Pour the chilled ice cream base into your ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

  2. Once the ice cream reaches a soft-serve consistency, layer it into a freezer-safe container, alternating with spoonfuls of the fudge sauce.

  3. Use a knife or spatula to gently swirl the fudge through the ice cream — don’t overmix.

Freeze:

Cover the container and freeze for at least 2–4 hours until firm.

Tips:
