Ingredients:
-
4 large russet potatoes
-
3 tablespoons olive oil
-
1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder
-
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
-
½ teaspoon black pepper
-
1 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
-
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan (optional)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
-
Preheat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 220°C (425°F). Line a baking tray with parchment paper or lightly grease it. -
Prepare Potatoes:
Wash and scrub the potatoes well. Cut each potato in half lengthwise, then cut each half into 4 wedges (8 per potato). -
Soak for Crispiness (Optional):
Soak the wedges in cold water for 30 minutes to remove excess starch. Drain and pat dry thoroughly. -
Season:
In a large bowl, toss the wedges with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and Parmesan if using. -
Bake:
Arrange wedges on the baking tray in a single layer, skin-side down.
Bake for 35–40 minutes, flipping once halfway through, until golden and crisp. -
Garnish and Serve:
Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve hot with ketchup, garlic mayo, or your favorite dipping sauce.
Tips:
-
For extra crispiness, don’t overcrowd the pan.
-
Add chili flakes or Cajun seasoning for a spicy kick.
-
Use sweet potatoes for a twist!
