Yuzu Soda

 Yuzu Soda

Yuzu soda is a light, citrusy drink made with Japanese yuzu juice, sweetener, and sparkling water. It's tangy like lemon with a floral twist — bold, refreshing, and beautifully aromatic.

Ingredients (Serves 2)

  • 2 tablespoons yuzu juice (fresh or bottled)

  • 1–2 tablespoons honey, agave syrup, or sugar (to taste)

  • 1½ cups chilled sparkling water or soda water

  • Ice cubes

  • Lemon or yuzu slices and mint, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Mix Yuzu and Sweetener
In a small pitcher or bowl, stir together the yuzu juice and sweetener until fully dissolved.

  2. Assemble the Drink
Fill two glasses with ice. Divide the yuzu mixture evenly between them.

  3. Add Sparkling Water
Top each glass with sparkling water. Stir gently to mix.

  4. Garnish and Serve
Garnish with a lemon or yuzu slice and a sprig of mint. Serve cold and bubbly.

Tips

  • Yuzu juice can be found at Asian markets or online — a little goes a long way.

  • Add a few basil leaves or shiso for a herbal twist.

  • For a frozen treat, blend the yuzu mix with crushed ice for a yuzu slushie.
