Fresh Grape Juice
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Servings: 2–3 glasses
Ingredients:
-
2 cups fresh, seedless grapes (red or green)
-
½ cup cold water (optional, for a thinner consistency)
-
1–2 teaspoons honey or sugar (optional, depending on taste)
-
Ice cubes (optional)
-
Fresh mint leaves or grape slices for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
-
Select the Grapes: Choose firm, ripe, and plump grapes. Seedless grapes are ideal for a smooth, easy-to-drink juice.
-
Wash Thoroughly: Rinse the grapes under cold running water to remove any dirt, dust, or pesticide residues. Pat dry with a clean towel.
-
Prepare for Juicing: Remove the grapes from their stems and place them into a blender or juicer.
-
Blend the Grapes: Blend the grapes until smooth. Add a little cold water if you prefer a thinner consistency.
-
Strain (Optional): For a smooth, pulp-free juice, pour the mixture through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth into a jug. Press gently to extract all the juice.
-
Sweeten if Desired: Taste the juice and add 1–2 teaspoons of honey or sugar if additional sweetness is preferred. Stir well to combine.
-
Serve Cold: Pour the juice into glasses over ice cubes for a refreshing beverage.
-
Garnish for Presentation: Add a few whole grapes or a fresh mint leaf to each glass for an appealing presentation.
