Fresh Pineapple Juice

 Fresh Pineapple Juice

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Servings: 2–3 glasses

Ingredients:

  • 1 medium fresh pineapple

  • ½ cup cold water or coconut water (optional, for a smoother consistency)

  • 1–2 teaspoons honey or sugar (optional, depending on taste)

  • Ice cubes (optional)

  • Fresh mint or pineapple slices for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Select the Pineapple: Choose a ripe pineapple that is firm, fragrant, and slightly golden in color. Avoid pineapples with soft spots or blemishes.

  2. Wash Thoroughly: Rinse the pineapple under cold running water to remove dirt or residues. Pat dry with a clean towel.

  3. Peel and Cut: Remove the top, bottom, and skin of the pineapple. Cut the flesh into small chunks, removing the tough core.

  4. Blend the Pineapple: Place the pineapple chunks into a blender. Add cold water or coconut water if desired to help achieve a smooth consistency. Blend until fully pureed.

  5. Sweeten if Desired: Taste the juice. Add 1–2 teaspoons of honey or sugar if needed, and blend briefly to mix thoroughly.

  6. Strain (Optional): For a smooth, pulp-free juice, strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth into a jug.

  7. Serve Cold: Pour the juice into glasses over ice cubes for a refreshing tropical beverage.

  8. Garnish for Presentation: Add a pineapple slice or fresh mint leaf to each glass to enhance visual appeal and aroma.
