Sangria (Grape Juice + Fresh Fruits)
Description:
The Non-Alcoholic Sangria is a beautiful, halal-friendly version of the classic Spanish drink — full of color, freshness, and natural sweetness. Made with grape juice, fresh fruits, and a hint of citrus, it delivers the same rich, fruity depth as traditional sangria without any alcohol. Perfect for family gatherings, festive dinners, or hot summer days, this elegant drink adds a touch of sophistication to your table while remaining 100% halal and refreshing.
Ingredients:
-
2 cups grape juice (preferably red or purple, chilled)
-
1 cup orange juice (freshly squeezed)
-
½ cup sparkling water or soda water
-
1 apple, thinly sliced
-
1 orange, thinly sliced
-
½ lemon, thinly sliced
-
½ cup berries (strawberries, blueberries, or raspberries)
-
1–2 tsp honey or sugar syrup (optional)
-
Ice cubes (as needed)
-
Mint leaves (for garnish)
Instructions:
-
In a large jug or pitcher, combine the grape juice and orange juice. Stir well to blend the flavors.
-
Add the sliced fruits — apple, orange, lemon, and berries — to the mixture. These fruits will infuse the juice with a beautiful, layered flavor.
-
If you like a little sweetness, stir in honey or sugar syrup until dissolved.
-
Cover the jug and let it chill in the refrigerator for at least 1–2 hours. This allows the fruits to release their natural juices and deepen the flavor.
-
When ready to serve, add ice cubes to glasses, pour in the chilled sangria, and top with sparkling water for a refreshing fizz.
-
Garnish with a mint leaf and a slice of orange for a perfect finish.
Serving Suggestion:
Serve your Non-Alcoholic Sangria cold in a clear glass pitcher or wine glasses to highlight the colorful mix of fruits. It’s a perfect drink for celebrations, parties, or any time you want something elegant and refreshing without alcohol.
Optional Variations:
-
Add pomegranate seeds for a pop of color and texture.
-
Replace grape juice with cranberry or apple juice for a lighter version.
-
For a tropical twist, include pineapple chunks and a splash of mango juice.
