Virgin Piña Colada (Pineapple + Coconut Milk)

Virgin Piña Colada (Pineapple + Coconut Milk)

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Servings: 2–3 glasses

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups fresh pineapple chunks (or 1 cup pineapple juice)

  • 1 cup coconut milk (or coconut cream for a richer texture)

  • 1–2 tablespoons honey or sugar (optional, to taste)

  • ½ cup ice cubes

  • Pineapple slices or shredded coconut for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Ingredients: Wash and peel the pineapple, then cut it into chunks. If using canned pineapple, drain the excess syrup.

  2. Blend the Mixture: In a blender, combine the pineapple chunks, coconut milk, honey (or sugar), and ice cubes. Blend until smooth and creamy.

  3. Check the Consistency: If the mixture is too thick, add a little cold water or extra coconut milk to reach your desired texture.

  4. Taste and Adjust: Taste the Piña Colada and adjust sweetness if needed. Blend again briefly to mix evenly.

  5. Serve Cold: Pour into chilled glasses for an elegant tropical presentation.

  6. Garnish for Presentation: Decorate with a pineapple slice, a sprinkle of shredded coconut, or a small paper umbrella for a festive touch.

Tips and Notes:

  • Best Consumption: Serve immediately after preparation for the freshest tropical flavor and creamy texture.

  • Variations: Add a few cubes of frozen banana or mango for extra smoothness and natural sweetness.

  • Health Benefits: A rich, hydrating beverage loaded with vitamin C from pineapple and healthy fats from coconut milk — perfect for energy and immunity.

  • Storage: Store in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to 12 hours. Stir well before serving, as natural separation may occur.
