2 cups ripe papaya, peeled, seeded, and chopped
-
1 cup fresh orange juice (about 2–3 oranges)
-
1–2 teaspoons honey or agave syrup (optional, to taste)
-
1/2 cup cold water (or ice cubes)
-
1 teaspoon lime juice (optional, for brightness)
Instructions:
-
Blend All Ingredients
In a blender, combine papaya, orange juice, honey or sweetener (if using), water or ice, and lime juice. Blend until smooth. -
Strain (Optional)
If you prefer a smoother juice, strain through a fine mesh sieve to remove any pulp. -
Serve Cold
Pour into glasses and serve immediately, garnished with a slice of orange or lime.
Tips:
-
Use chilled fruit for an extra cold drink without diluting it with ice.
-
Add a few fresh mint leaves for a cooling touch.
Health Note:
Papaya is known for its digestive benefits thanks to the enzyme papain, while oranges provide a strong dose of immune-boosting vitamin C.
