Naturally sweetened with ripe bananas and soft dates, this smoothie is creamy, filling, and full of nutrients. It’s great for breakfast, suhoor, or a refreshing midday boost.


Ingredients (Serves 2):

  • 1 ripe banana

  • 4–6 soft dates, pitted (Medjool recommended)

  • 1 cup milk (dairy or almond/oat for dairy-free)

  • ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)

  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds or oats (optional, for extra fiber)

  • ½ cup ice cubes


Instructions:

  1. Soften the Dates (if needed):
    If your dates are firm, soak them in warm water for 5–10 minutes, then drain.

  2. Blend:
    In a blender, combine banana, dates, milk, cinnamon, chia/oats (if using), and ice. Blend until smooth and creamy.

  3. Serve:
    Pour into glasses and enjoy immediately, chilled.


Tips:

  • Use frozen banana for an extra thick and frosty smoothie.

  • Add a scoop of protein powder for a more filling meal replacement.
