Lemon Ginger Detox Drink

Ingredients:

2 cups (500ml) water

1 tablespoon fresh ginger (grated or sliced)

Juice of 1 lemon (about 2 tablespoons)

1–2 teaspoons honey or maple syrup (optional)

A pinch of cayenne pepper (optional, for metabolism boost)
Instructions:

Boil the Ginger
In a small pot, bring water and ginger to a boil. Reduce heat and let simmer for 5 minutes. -
Strain & Mix
Strain the ginger tea into a cup or pitcher. Add lemon juice and sweetener if desired. Stir well. -
Serve
Enjoy warm for a soothing detox, or chill in the fridge and serve cold over ice for a refreshing drink.
