Ingredients:

  • 2 cups (500ml) water

  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger (grated or sliced)

  • Juice of 1 lemon (about 2 tablespoons)

  • 1–2 teaspoons honey or maple syrup (optional)

  • A pinch of cayenne pepper (optional, for metabolism boost)

Instructions:

  1. Boil the Ginger
    In a small pot, bring water and ginger to a boil. Reduce heat and let simmer for 5 minutes.

  2. Strain & Mix
    Strain the ginger tea into a cup or pitcher. Add lemon juice and sweetener if desired. Stir well.

  3. Serve
    Enjoy warm for a soothing detox, or chill in the fridge and serve cold over ice for a refreshing drink.

Tips:

  • Drink first thing in the morning on an empty stomach for best detox benefits.

  • Add cucumber or mint for an extra refreshing twist.
